How to do these
40 ÷ 5 = 8
  1. Ask how many 5s fit into the first digit — if it won't fit, take the first two digits.
  2. Write that number above the line, multiply it back by 5, and subtract.
  3. Bring the next digit down and repeat until nothing is left over.
