The answers to the questions you actually have to ask

No pitch on this page. What it costs, what happens to student data, and what isn't ready yet — in that order, because that is the order procurement asks them in.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Every feature and every print run is free for every teacher, with no account, no trial period and no seat count.

There is no site licence to buy, and no procurement to do A paid school tier may exist later, for the invoice and the licence document a finance office likes on file. It does not exist today, so there is nothing to raise a requisition for. Point your staff at the site and use it. If that changes, it will be announced on the what's new page first.

What happens to student data?

None is collected, because there is nowhere for it to go. tilo has no server, no accounts and no analytics. It is a single web page that runs entirely in the browser. Anything typed — a child's name on a worksheet header, a class name — is used to draw the page and saved only in that browser's own storage. It is never transmitted, because there is no endpoint to transmit it to.

No sign-in, so no credentials to breach.
No rosters, no uploads, no integrations that read your SIS.
No third-party scripts, trackers or advertising. The page makes no external requests at all.
Works with the network unplugged, which is the simplest possible proof of the above.

The practical consequence: FERPA and COPPA reviews tend to be short, because the questions are mostly about what is collected, shared and retained, and the answer to all three is nothing. Full detail is on the privacy page.

What is not ready

Being straight about this is cheaper for both of us than discovering it during a pilot.

Standards alignment

There is no Common Core or state-standard mapping in the interface today. Every tile carries an internal skill tag and the content is standard primary and lower-secondary material, but if your adoption process requires standard codes on a report, tilo does not produce them yet. This is the top item on the roadmap.

Student accounts and progress tracking

Not built. Worksheets are printed and completed on paper. There is no gradebook, no dashboard and no per-student history — which is the flip side of collecting no data.

Admin console

There is nothing to administer. A site licence is a licence, not a set of seats to provision.

Accessibility conformance

The printed output has strong support options — enlarged text, increased spacing, fewer items per page, boxed digit columns, no copying required. The authoring interface has not yet been formally audited against WCAG, and we would rather tell you that than imply a conformance level we haven't tested.

What you get that other worksheet sites don't

Answer keys that cannot be wrong. Answers are computed by the same routine that generated the questions, at the moment of generation. Nothing is transcribed, so a key cannot drift or contain a typo.
A class set from one build. Up to 40 copies with different questions on each, or the same skills retuned across a grade range, out of a single print job.
Accommodations as switches, not separate documents. The settings sit on the worksheet, so one authored sheet prints standard for the class and enlarged at four-per-page for the pupils who need it.
Designed to be cheap to print. Ink-saver, greyscale, and two- or four-up layouts. Four-up double-sided is eight worksheets per sheet of paper.

Nothing to sign, nothing to schedule
