How to do these
The clock shows 6:40.
- The short hand gives the hour. It's the hour it has just passed, not the one it's near.
- The long hand gives the minutes. Count round in fives from the 12.

How to do these
6 hours = 360 minutes
- Work out how many minutes there are in one of the unit you start with.
- Going to a smaller unit means multiplying; going to a bigger unit means dividing.
Convert each measurement.
1.5 hours = minutes
2.3 hours = minutes
3.9 hours = minutes
4.6 hours = minutes
5.12 hours = minutes
6.2 hours = minutes
7.2 hours = minutes
8.6 hours = minutes
